EE is a roo, the leghorn, barred rock and buff are all pullets.
I think your best chance is to look for a private sale in your area. Check your feed store, craigslist, etc. If you're in doubt, get a pic and post it here before you buy, we can tell you if it's a pullet or cockeral pretty reliably at this age.

So far, I haven't found any young chickens for sale in our area via craigslist and the feed stores are done selling them until next spring. Are mail order chickens usually male or not good chickens?

You can order started pullets from a hatchery, but it is pretty expensive with shipping and all. There is nothing wrong with hatchery chickens as long as you just want pets or egg layers (or both).

I think the only place you can my small amounts from is mypetchicken. They charge more per bird because you only get a few (most hatcheries have a 25 chick minimum for heat). Most hatcheries sex their chicks, so you can buy pullets.

if you want definate for sure pullets, I suggest getting sexlinks.
