I know pineapple is not a citrus fruit, however it is very acidic. I threw the trimmings in the run but they don't seem very interested. Is it bad for them?

Here is what I do and yes they will eat it after it is cooked or
as I do steam it and then put it in some rice other times I
even put it in a blender to cut it up nice and small for them
just the way I do things

......
or save them till a lot of different table scraps are collected
and mix them up in the blender and cook it up in rice or
oatmeal or some of their regular feed ..........

Even my chickens won't eat everything. Sometimes, they ignore new things because they are different not because they are bad for them. The first pumpkin I put in for them was avoided for a couple of days, until one got brave. Now it is like feeding time at the zoo for any hapless pumpkin within reach.
