Is purina really bad for ducks?

they said it’s full of “fillers and garbage” and is basically chips to ducks. I’ve heard so many people say it’s great so that’s why i’m confused
That's not really scientific evidence more like internet rumors and gossip which started in circulation with the advent of boutique foods and "5 star rated foods" based on a name and what is perceived as fillers (It's all in the marketing). Purina is backed by years and years of actual scientific research and on staff animal nutrionists which a lot of feed manufacturers don't employee. I hear this on the dog forums as well. The boutique foods and designer brands have been linked to other issues. What are the fillers? I mean especially in the flock raiser - corn? :D
I feed my ducks and chickens purina flock raiser as well as nutrena all flock. It just depends on what store I'm at as far as what I get. They all do well and thrive.
True fillers come from the meal worms and watermelon (or veggie scraps) that I treat them with. ;)
