I’ve been told Purina Flock Raiser is bad for ducks? Is this true? My ducks have had it their whole lives and seem fine?

my friend who also has ducks, they’ve had ducks for like 7 years longer than me so i just want to make sure i’m not hurting my ducks by giving them the feed. they said purina is the worst
Ask them to back up their comments with scientific proof that it's bad.

they said it’s full of “fillers and garbage” and is basically chips to ducks. I’ve heard so many people say it’s great so that’s why i’m confused

Instead of listening to anecdotal accounts, do yourself some research and figure out if you think it's a suitable feed for your ducks. I personally think it's one of the higher-quality brands of waterfowl feed, around with Mazuri.

I hear nothing but good about purina, I have a nut case friend who feeds her dogs nothing but raw half chicken carcasses, and drives 100 miles a week to buy them for her 5 dogs, she claims high end dog food is bad for dogs, I don’t see hers are any healthier than mine.
Some ppl say you are wrong and they are right no matter what you do. If your ducks are happy stick with it. Maybe your friend is right, I would say 99 percent chance she’s nuts.
