IS she a broody

My only bantam hen is sitting on eggs in the corner of the hut and is unusually tame. she sleeps there all night and day until i let her and her brother free range in the day. her poor brother trots around (when in the run) on his own with her in the house.
If this sounds like she is broody how do you make her not broody as i don't want her to be as i am getting rid of her on saturday.

i don't want her to be as i am getting rid of her on saturday.

I had a serial broody last summer, finally gave her away, she's never gone broody since.
If you're getting rid of her just do so, I wouldn't worry about breaking her first.

I like to think that her move alone and the disruption of her routine and losing the prized nest site will do the trick.

I agree, I think the stress of moving will be enough to break her. I broke my last broody by simply moving her into our new coop.

Thanks for your help......i just shut her out of the coop for a day and she was fine again...she has gone now so yeah
