Is she a he?

New to raising chickens, our three are roughly 7-8 weeks old, one of them is now making "chicken sounds" that appear to be more rooster like... How can I tell? Do they all try to crow? "She is an Americana " at least that's what I was told. Any input welcome.

Not to sounds lame, but what are the visual clues to tell?

The comb is very developed and red already. A pullet wouldn't have her comb redden and grow for several more weeks. I can't see it from this angle but I'm guessing that there is also a patch of brick red feathers coming in on the wing...
