Hahaha! I will definitely let you know. I'll be kinda sad though. I really like the look of this chicken and we won't be able to keep it if it's a rooster.

I am not sure. and cannot wait to find out! This bird is a tough call. Are the legs thick...or skinny?

The legs are no thicker than any of our other chickens.

There is alot of lacing in that bird and throws the look of the feathers off and makes me think she isn't R.I. Red. To me she looks more sex-linked with all the white lacing in the hackle feathers.
Either way it look to be a Hen..
