Is she a rooster?????

Can someone tell me if my Easter egger is a roo. Also please excuse the mess by the way.





He/She had her tail feathers almost up straight when I came home.
Also could someone confirm if this is a New Hampshire.

I can't really see the comb, but the hackles look pretty pointy. However, I've read that females usually develop tail feathers first. It's GORGEOUS either way!

That color pattern is usually on pullets. I would say its a girl.

Thank you silkiecuddles and heatherscooby77. After looking at some pictures and what you said, I think she is a girl too. She is almost five weeks old and her comb isn't really red. Her comb would be a bit wider to I think?.


Does anyone know what breed the second pullet is. She has a little black in her tail feathers that didn't show in the picture?

I'm thinking pullet on your Easter Egger, but it is a little young to be sure. Your "New Hampshire" looks more like a Buff Orpington or Production Red to me.
