She is almost 5 mowell in a few months the egg will tell us
Not really unless it is a green, layer, in which case its none of the breeds op thinks it is,well in a few months the egg will tell us
Hmmm - I believe you but she doesn''t look it. Was she a baby chick when you got her or a started pullet??? Sometimes they give you one a little younger than the rest of the batch. She is almost 5 mo
I meant like a really dark brown, chocolate eggNot really unless it is a green, layer, in which case its none of the breeds op thinks it is,
I think you might have a Brahma x Ayam Cemani cross.Supposed to be brahma
will she lay green eggs?
I bought egss from brahma farm.
She has straight comb.I think you might have a Brahma x Ayam Cemani cross.
I think she has a pea comb, which is right if she has a Brahma parent but should be impossible for a Cochin parent (assuming the other parent is Ayam Cemani in each case-- which seems very likely, given the amount of black in feathers, skin, etc.)
What color eggs did you buy? If they were blue or green, there is a good chance that your bird will lay one of those colors. But if the eggs were any shade of brown or white, your bird is unlikely to lay blue or green. (The egg she hatched from tells us what color eggs her mother laid. We do not know what egg color genes her father had, because we are not sure what breed or mix he was.)
I know she looks smaller, but she's 5 mo ((Hmmm - I believe you but she doesn''t look it. Was she a baby chick when you got her or a started pullet??? Sometimes they give you one a little younger than the rest of the batch.
