Is she contagious

My hen was like sneezing yesterday. I think that’s what she was doing. Today I hear like a moaning sound and it’s her. She looks fine but she doesn’t sound right. No other hens are doing it. Is she sick? I separated her.

Is she still sneezing today? Does she have any drainage from her nostrils or bubbles in an eye? Sneezing can sometimes be from dust or an irritant, especially while eating feed that is dusty. Have you added any new birds recently? Do you have any pictures of how she appears, or can you upload a video to YouTube or Vimeo with a link posted here?

If it’s chronic sneezing, then it can most likely be caused by a respiratory disease called Mycoplasma Gallisepticum (MG), also going by another name called Chronic Respiratory Disease (CRD).
