Is she crowing or ending an egg song?

One of my newest layers, a phoenix, went into the coop to lay today. I went inside because I heard an egg song that I had never heard before. I saw it was the phoenix, and then she started "singing". It sounded like: caw-caw-caw-caw-caw-caw-cawwwwwwww. Her neck feathers stuck up the whole time. I have one adult rooster and 3 young cockerels with her. Is she becoming a rooster and starting to crow or just has a special song? Can't upload video sorry. :(
 
I'd have to hear it to say for sure, but from the pattern you gave, I'd say it's either an egg song or a communication of some sort. Crows are pretty distinctive. It's not unheard of for a hen to start crowing, but it usually also involves her stopping laying and a possible infection/hormonal issue. Is she still laying???
