is she egg bound?

Alright, I don't want to alarm anyone, but if she's truly egg bound, then she can die with in 24-48 hours. You may wan to do a butt check, to find out if she is truly egg bound because then we need to take QUICK action, otherwise, we have to find out what else is wrong with her.

any other way at all i can check?

i think my girl is egg bound. she is 6 months old and started laying about a month ago. today she hasn’t ate much of her feed, but i did give her a big bowl of mealworms which she ate. i also gave her a couple egg shells. she wasn’t really playing when she was in the pool, just preening. and she is laying down a lot. anyway i can tell if she is actually egg bound?
To make sure it’s egg bound grab a rubber glove and stick your finger up it’s vent if you feel an egg then it’s egg bound

also she was drinking water, would an egg bound duck be drinking?

Depends on how critical in the condition they are, most egg-bound ducks will sit by the water bowl and drink more than normal, but once they get into a critical state they often become too sick to drink and that's where they end of passing.
