Hey yall, my mallard, Miss Quacks went broody,well I thought so. She'll go & sit on her nest for a few hours then get off.

She's been doing this the last few days.
So is it a sign they she's going to go broody soon or what? It's driving me crazy,lol.

that means she is thinking about going broody.but hasnt quiet made her mind up yet.just watch her an see what she decides todo.

Oh, i know. My silkie pullet does that. Shell lay and egg, then sit on it and whoever else lays...then quits! makes me pretty mad at her..

Thanks yall, she's laying her eggs still early in the a.m. She'll come back a sit for a few hrs.Then she's back to her ducky business,lol.
I'm so ready to experience a mama ducky & babies.
