Is she getting ready to lay or just keeping warm?

I have a small flock of 5 hens (2 eggers, 3 speckled sussex). Last Thursday was when they officially hit 20 weeks old. I haven't gotten an egg yet, but yesterday I found one of my eggers, Queen, in the nesting box. Someone had kicked the two ceramic eggs out of the box, and Queen was nestled inside. She's a fairly timid bird, but she let me pet her and check underneath. When I touched her, she just pressed down lower into the box. She also did not come out when I fed them (even though I was giving some black soldier fly larvae). I found her wandering the run later in the day, but saw no evidence of an egg. I've also never seen any of them in the nesting box since I put in in last month. I do live in Florida. We just had some rain and a dip down in temperature on Sunday night. Outside temp was in the 40s in the morning and it was 60 in the hen house.

What do you all think? Was she cold, or is she getting ready for her first egg?

EDIT: I wanted to add that when I was out there later on, she was acting normally. No lethargy or signs of illness/injury.

Her hormones are telling her to start looking for good laying spots, and she's practicing using it, so you'll probably continue to see a little bit of odd or indecisive behavior from her until one day, there's an egg!
