Is that dark stuff blood?

Id say she either just kidded or is about to.
I dont know much about the Pooch test (maybe someone else does..) but they say the anus is not "tucked away" and hers does not look to be the slightest..

Is it milk, milk?
How old is she?

yes its straight milk the best I can tell.
I got her from the auction so her age is unknown to me

If it was colostrum (if she were about to kid) you would know, it is horrible tasting stuff. She could be pregnant, if she were you should't be milking her. But my guess is she kidding and was a cull because of the udder attachment and is in the drying up phase. You can keep milking her and get the production up , but that udder is going to cause problems, maybe not this year, but a year or two of kids on it or milking is going to be bad. Check her mouth to age her or get an estimate.

Five is a good age, still lots of years left (If the udder holds up). Either way (pregnant or not) I would not milk her anymore. It will be nearly impossible for you to get her in any kind of decent condition if she is trying to produce milk also, and if she is preg. she really needs everything for the kid and herself at this point and to dry up and get ready to start over.

That was my first impression also. I beat she was a cull. Her udder seems kind of poor. Just watch that it does get too detached and she steps on it.

I agree. She's pretty though
