not even sure if I am going to keep him. is it possible she could have another one this late,she is still acting like she is pushing with labor pains(I think) but thought it looked like she had all the after birth looking gush of mucus and water after he was born

I was following this too! I know nothing about goats, but I had a feeling she might have a little one in there- I had a great dane who I knew was prego (with 13 puppies!), and she looked like hell, but the babies were all healthy! I know its a completely different animal, but it just reminded me of that! Congrats on the little guy! So cute!

I'm guessing that she is in such rough shape, because her previous owners did not dry her up 3-4 months prior to her kidding. Poor thing has become malnourished as a result.
I say stuff her full of high quality food and get her on some good probiotics.
