I have rehomed several of my chicks, including several roos. I recently started to suspect that maybe this one has me fooled.

4 months old. The person I got the eggs from had Isbars and Cream Legbars and other breeds. Only the blue and green eggs hatched, but I don't know which is which.

What do you think? Is she a he?

Are those hackle feathers pointy, or rounded? I'm guessing cockerel, although it's hard to see the hackle feathers. Also the new saddle feathers look boyish, and the comb and wattles are on the large and dark side. A late developing cockerel is my guess.

Thanks, all. I added pictures of the hackle feathers. They are more shaggy than anything else I can describe. In the last week, this chicken's posture and behavior has changed drastically. Time to rehome!
