A fecal sample would also tell you if she had worms

But if she had worms that’s proabably show in her feces right? So I can keep a look out for that too, on another note she’s feeling better than before and is more active, I kept her warm using hot water bottles and I think that helped her! Still kinda worried tho

Well she doesn’t have bloody feces, her feces are a bit watery but other than that they’re ok, she has been eating and drinking, I used hot water bottles to keep her warm and she’s better now, I just came home from school so I’ll check on her once more, I think she might’ve just caught a cold(?) because they were out on the terrace and since the others are fine it probably means that whatever she has doesn’t spread to others, I wish I could take her to a vet but they none of the vets check birds in my city

Somebody correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe that a chicken can still have coccidiosis even if they don’t have bloody poop. It is just one possible symptom. Yeah, it is frustrating that so many vets don’t take chickens. But as I said earlier, even a non chicken vet will most likely look at a fecal sample for you.

You might be able to see bigger worms, but the vets use a microscope for a fecal sample, so they can see a lot more, including worm eggs. That’s good! Just keep an eye on her!

Yes, I had a group with coccidiosis and only 1 had blood but they all had runny poo. A treatment of corid in water never hurts if you suspect that's what is causing an illness.

Oh, and for future note, don’t freak out if you see a poop with a little red in it. I’m talking about quite a bit of blood. Small little red bits is perfectly normal, if I remember right it is called red tissue and it is shedding of the intestinal linings.

There are many strains of coccidiosis that affect chickens. Only a couple may cause blood in the droppings. Signs of coccidiosis are being sleepy/lethargic, weak, standing hunched or puffed up with neck drawn into shoulders, not eating or drinking. It is a common parasite that affects young chickens or older chickens with poor immunity. You cannot see worm eggs in droppings without a microscope. Some may see roundworms in poop if there is a large worm load. Many worm their chickens routinely. In Pakistan, levamisole put in the water may be a common worm treatment. Here in the US, fenbendazole or albendazole are used.
