Is she trying to go broody?

Well, I went to collect eggs this morning and she was sitting on 3 eggs like this screeching at me 🤦‍♀️
I got the eggs out but shes still sitting there 30 minutes later. Should I give her a little more time to get up or...she usually eventually gets out but I get worried because we are hot in Texas and the nesting boxes can get hot. It's fine if they're just in there for a few minutes while laying but I dont think it's ok for her to be in there for and hr+.

Ok, so at noon she was still in there. I picked her up (with a lot of screams from her) and put her out with her sisters. She sat for a minute then ran away. Fingers crossed she stays out of there.

I hope that does it. 2 of mine were super easy to break but one took a week which eventually included 2 days of chicken jail. She was a nightmare but we did get it under control.

I'm still having to remove her at least once a day. Hoping she stops soon. We were planning on going out of town but I dont want to make it any harder for our neighbor who cares for them when we're gone.

How funny I just had the same exact experience with my young Ameraucauna. I just put her in a separate area of my run where she couldn't get to the nest for 1 day and she quit. But she hasn't laid for over a week now so I was worried and posted about it.
