These are two of my chickens that I got a few years ago labeled as RIR. I love them so much but am wondering if thats really what hey are?

This one above was, at one point was named Me, like do, ray, me, fa, so ,the, do. But was recently named scrappy jr. because you can see she was picked on by our rooster. Any way, is she actually a RIR?

This one has got to be my favorite chicken, Who was once named ray, but is now scrappy. She was more severely picked on buy our rooster, but is separated and recovering. Below I have a pic of one of them when they were younger and buffed out. I am thinking maybe golden sexlink, because of the white feathers? Thanks!

She is the one in front you can see most clearly, she is standing with our other RIR.

Looking at the feathers missing on the back and around the neck, i would say your roo (or roos if you have multiples) aren't necessarily picking on your two girls, but rather they seem to be their favorite hens to mate. Saddles will help to an extent. If you, or someone you know knows how to sew, making them is fairly quick. Many hens, mine included, look pretty rough this time of year, but molting season is coming quickly and they will be shiny and new again soon. But a saddle might help until then.
