Is soap on a 3 week old very dirty chick okay?

I don't know how she got poop under her wing and all down her leg. She must have gotten a dust bath mixed up with a poop bath!!

I can't seem to get it off with water, she is so delicate. She is much smaller than the others; she is a cochin; maybe they mature slower, I don't know, but it is real hard to get off.

Can I use a mild soap?? I don't want it there too long. Thanks!

I use puppy shampoo. You can also use baby shampoo.. So any mild soap should be fine.
