Hello fellow fanciers, i am new to this site but have had chickens for a while. This week I got 3 green eggs out of the Coop. I've had these same hens for almost a year and have never had anything but brown or white eggs before. Is it possible that one has changed colors on me or that one hasn't been laying until now?
Or should I set up a game camera to catch a prankster?

Glad you joined us. Can't help with the answer, but interested to see if someone can enlighten us. May have to set up the game camera.

Egg color does not change, no - shade, yes; color, no.
That being said - it is possible that not all of them have been laying prior to this and one has now started contributing and lays green eggs. If you post photos of your flock we can assist you.

Hello there and welcome to BYC!

I agree with Ol Grey Mare here. Color of the bloom doesn't vary all that much. Do you have any birds that should be laying green eggs and maybe these birds are just now coming into lay?

Welcome to BYC! Glad you decided to join our flock. X4 on Ol Grey Mare. A hen's eggs do not change color. Please feel free to ask any other questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Good luck with your flock.
