Is something wrong with my chickens feet?

I was looking at my chickens feet today and it seems they are flaking and some spots are turning colour. Is anything wrong or is this normal?

Do a thread search for pics of scaly leg mite. That may be what you're dealing with.

I have had some chickens with duo color feet or sometimes even flaky feet. I don't think this is anything big. However, keeping an eye ut for any other signs of pain or illness can never hurt. Just keep in mind, it could be something as simple as molting.
