Is something wrong with my hen?

Ever since this hen has started getting old enough to lay eggs she seems to have feathers that stick out much farther around her vent and belly. They stick out so much that droppings are getting stuck in her feathers and its starting to make me think that its not her feathers sticking out but her belly is swollen or stucking out a bit. Its hard to tell but i just wanted to figure out if she is in any danger.

I had the same issue when I was using the byc app but when I logged onto byc from Chrome it worked. Not really helping with your questions but just a suggestion with the pic problem.

this morning she ran out of the coop and just stood there for a minute doing this and it looked like she was trying to lay a egg or something. She was sitting kinda like a penguin. I heard that if they sit like that it could mean bad things. Also she has been laying eggs that are very soft and break at the touch.
