Is "The Chicken Health Handbook" worth getting?

If you want to know about things, it is definitely worthwhile. If you would rather not worry, or are just going to take the approach of 'sick chicken, get hatchet' anyhow, then I dunno.

There are enough fairly-trivial biological inaccuracies in it to make me wonder how many more-significant veterinary inaccuracies there might also be... but even so, it is a LOT of information all in one place and thus very good to have if you like that sort of thing.

Yep, it is part of the library that one needs to refer to time and time again.

I wish you could look at my copy and then decide....maybe more information than most folks would ever use ( in my opinion ).

I like it. I read it though about 10 years ago and have found that really, you don't have to be afraid of the many possible diseases they list. Unlikly you'll have to deal with most of them and best not to overreact.
