Is the Diatomaceous Earth making my chickens cough?

Should I put vinegar in the water? If so, how much? Or shoould I give him vitamins or some antibiotics?

I posted in your other thread about the roo.

vitamins are always good when they aren't quite right..

keeping him warm and protected from drafts is important..
extra protein ..such as egg can help him also.

a little vinegar can help cut any mucus..
if he will drink the water..he needs the water.

check his crop good...feel for any lump or grainy feeling...or any odor.

if you have the med..give it to him if separating him from the area doesn't clear up the breath sounds.
if he was sick before, he might be especially vulnerable to changes of temps or dusts.
always run the full course of meds using proper dose.
others would suggest you try a different med.
