Is there a Backyard Rabbits?!

We met the most adorable Rhinelanders at the Lansing Area Chickenstock, and my son wants to learn more about rabbits before he gets one.

Is there a great forum like the one at BYC? We found one called RabbitsOnline.net. Does anyone go there?

[edit] We tried RabbitsOnline.net, but you can't even browse the site without becoming a member. That does not sit well with my slightly rebellious self! Then we tried Fuzzy-Bunny.com, but after my son registered, it refused to let him log in, saying his account was inactive! Argh!

The best rabbit forum (ok, it's a section of another forum) in my opinion is the "raising rabbits for profit" on HomesteadingToday.com. There are meat rabbit owners, pet rabbit owners, and show rabbit owners there, and lots of advice and wonderful info to read.

Yahoo groups also has a bunch of lists. You might try Showbunnies for starters. If you're interested in Rhinelanders, you can also check out http://pets.groups.yahoo.com/group/RhinelanderRabbit/ for info. I've been in Rhinelanders for a year and a half or so, and they're an awesome breed.
