My thermometer/hygrometer combos both seem to be off, even after calibrating them? I was going to try and see if I can check progress through the air cell? I've read about it before but now I can't find it? I've searched on here and only came up with one post, which didn't tell me how to do it. Or can somebody just tell me how to do it, so I can go by that instead of my cheap springfields that dont work. I set my eggs late last Friday night. Right now, both of my digitals say 100.6 degrees and 20% humidity and 101.1 and 20% humidity?? When I calibrated them one said 64% and the other said 42% (so I added 16% to one and 33% to the other)....but they both say 20% now????? Does that make sense?!?!?! Soooooo confused

Hmmm...I know there is an illustration of this available in The Guide To Better Hatching, but don't know how you'd get that info tonight. Maybe Google Egg Air Cell Chart and see what comes up.

Mine are also shipped. I had a few that had slightly detached air cells when I checked them before setting. Tomorrow night will be day 7 so I will check to see where the air sacs are at that point.

Hoping all is well

From what I understand.....if you candle an egg and you tilt it sideways or upside down, the air sac will move to the other side....meaning its detached. Please correct me somebody if I'm wrong...this is what I was told
