Is there a chicken developing in one of these eggs????????

Three days is a little early to candle.

Wait until at least day 7, preferably day 10 and you will know for sure!

I agree...wait until at least Day 10 to make a conclusive decision. Even at Day 7, you might not understand what you're seeing. Trust me...I was all kinds of lost last time and am forcing myself to wait until Day 10 for this hatch. Thank goodness that is tomorrow...I've been going crazy watching them like something's going to spontaneously happen!

It's too early to candle, but I do have what I hope is helpful advice. Every time you candle, give each egg a quick sniff. If there is one bad one you want to find it before it oozes fluids.

Hope your hatch is perfect!

ETA, I usually candle on days 7, 14 and 18 only.

The veins are not showing well in these pics but they are there, and stand out very well to the eye...
