Is there a feed that you can feed to your entire flock??

It's the kind of feed that my chickens eat and don't just bill it out looking for something they like. I got tired of finding mounds of feed under their feeders and it going to waste. This they eat and clean up so at least it's not being wasted.

I feed unmedicated laying mash to all my birds, chicks on up to laying hens. I've never had problems doing this, though some folks tend to think this will hurt a chick's renal function. Mine seem to thrive on it. $17 for #100 bag is just my price range.

im so glad i found the answer...
but im wondering where you guys are finding 100 lbs. bags of feed for $17
I shop at BIG R and only get 40 lbs bags for around $11...
im getting jipped!

we have a tractor supply down the road from Big R but i dont know if they have cheaper feed or not...

Southern States! They mix and bag their own mash, but the pellets come from somewhere else and are more expensive.

Flock Raiser. I give it to everybody. Chickens, Guineas and Bobwhite. Sure a lot cheaper than buying lots of different feeds. Chickens and Guineas free-range too.
