Is there a muffed breed not EE or Ameraucana?

I am trying to figure out a "surprise egg" It was a large brown egg. The chick is very large, reddish color, with nice big muffs, darker stripe down the back, no eye stripe. I don't know if there is anything besides ee/ameraucanas that have those muffs. I tried to look it up and I got 7 pages of the ee/ameraucana debate. Of course, it could from an ee daddy. Anyway, I thought I'd ask.

Sorry I haven't replied to this post, thanks for the suggestions. I left on vacation on the 20th and just got back yesterday, and still haven't got the chicks back from the babysitters. I will check out the suggestions and see if I can figure this one out, and maybe post a picture.

There are lots of breeds with muffs and beards.

Unless you know a parent was/could have been EE, ameraucana or araucana guessing EE based upon a bird having muffs is kind of like assuming that someone is fixing hamburgers for dinner because they went to the grocery store today.
