Is there a such thing as too many chicks?!

Yup - I'm totally psyched. They're mixed colors, show quality and mostly bearded - a few non bearded in there. Straight run of course, but who cares. Silkie roosters are cool too.

And of course there is the 14 silkie eggs sitting in my incubator right now that arrived on Wednesday!

Too many chicks? I have 30somthing....that isn't enough!

The hubby did mention something last week about my high feed store bill

I just blamed it on the horses...had to switch feeds and it is higher (which I did for some mare n foal feed)

I just left out the part of all the chicks growing and now eating almost twice as much feed and then changed the subject really fast.

I have more eggs incubating too

The answer is NEVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL
