Is there a way to edit posts that can't be edited anymore?

The thread is 10 pages long...and only a day or so old.
And there have also been old threads and posts of mine I can’t edit. So is it thread length or time or both?

I would think you should be able to edit a day old post.

Thanks I was wondering what it stood for. Seems like a good perk, so you can delete old posts if you are a PFM?

Each post has a 24-hour edit/delete window for normal members. It closes the second outside of that time frame, and cannot be opened again without a PFM or moderator intervention.

After 24 ours a post is uneditable. After you get a pfm it's 30 days
