Is there a way to get more hens than roosters during incubation?

Hi everyone,:frowis there a way to get more hens than rooster during incubation? or be able to tell the gender of the chicken before it hatches?

No real evidence but I believe female eggs are more likely to survive temperatures at the low end of the scale and male eggs are more likely to survive at the higher end of the temperature scale.
I know commercial chicken egg farms (who kill the male Day olds) have the incubation temperature slightly lower so maybe they have found its true. Who knows

That's not really true, just an old wives tail. Otherwise there would barely ever be straight run.
