Is there a way to get rid of a particular ad?

There is an ad that keeps coming up on Backyard Chickens every time I’m here. Unlike most of the ads it doesn’t have an “X” in the upper corner to close it. This is the first time in 6 years that I have found an ad to be (mildly) offensive and inappropriate. It isn’t horrible, it just bothers me.

And (because I know someone will ask) here is a screenshot of it:

I know how you feel. Those ads are insulting to a lot of people. Click ad choice at the upper right corner and click report ad. Then you can choose why you don't like it and they'll stop showing it.
I’d love to, but this particular ad doesn’t seem to have one! What you see in the photo I posted is all there is, no “Ad” no “X” nothing. :(

You can buy a PFM (Premium Feather Membership) and get rid of ads. There are other benefits to having a PFM, but to me, that's one of the biggies.

I will definitely look into that, but honestly most ads don’t bother me at all. In fact I find some of them quite useful (for example I didn’T realize that Chewy had chicken products as well as dog/cat products). It is just this one ad that has my knickers in a twist. It bothers me so much that I’ve been avoiding cruising the site.

Yeah! One of the few places you can get 50lbs of layer shipped where the postage dosent cost more than the food. I think 4.95 if you do auto ship, which you can reschedule indefinitely and never actually auto ship a thing. It is free if you get 40 dollars worth of anything.
Been using them a while for layer, starter, worms, they even carry grit now.

Options in order of ease of use:

1) membership

2) set primary DNS to 1.1.1.1 :yesss: (read more here)

3) use ad-block and no-script extensions in FireFox (can break stuff if you don't know what you're doing :he)

4) Proper local network management including aggressive firewalling and proxy cacheing ;) i.e. flash a compatible router such as an EA3500 to use opnWRT (likely to brick your hardware if you aren't skilled in such things :old).

5) all of the above
