I'd like to be able to drag them up and down to put the ones I reference the most often at the top.

Some are for me to look up when I want a piece of information handy, others are things I recommend to people multiple times a week and I'd like those to be at the top of the list instead of whatever I added most recently.

In the upper right corner of each bookmark is the bookmark tools button.

Click on the bookmark tools button and select edit.

Then give your bookmark a label. My suggestion would be to give the ones that you use the most frequently the same label.

Press Save.

Once you have the Bookmarks labeled you will be able to use the Filter.

Select the Bookmark label that you want. Sorry I do not have my Bookmarks labeled so cannot screenshot a label to choose.

Thanks.

So I can't actually put them in the order I want, but I can fudge it to make them easier to find than just scrolling the list?

By using the labels you can filter by whatever label you have given them. If it works like the filters for the albums, it is temporary.

The only way to do what you want is by deleting the bookmark that you use the most and then adding it again. It looks to me like the most recently added bookmark will be at the top of the list.

The label system would be great... if it actually worked. I have never been able to create or save a label. I thought it was maybe a PFM perk but now that I'm a PFM... nope, still nothing.

I've copied my most used links into a Word Doc, since I don't know how else to manage it, but it's a hassle since 1) it's only useful if I'm on my main computer and 2) means having to manage a separate item just so I can provide people with assistance.

Thanks for the heads up on the functionality of the labels.

I guess I'll have to make a Google Doc so it will at least port between the desktop and the Chromebook (I find Google Docs awkward on the phone).

I only have one bookmark that has been labeled. It took it awhile but the filter did find the label.

Bookmarks used to be only available for PFMs but are now available to everyone.

I have always used WordPad to keep a record of links that I refer to. The nice thing about your method and my method is that we can arrange the links in any order that we want with as much or as little additional information as we desire. By using a .doc method, you can save them as actual workable hyperlinks which I cannot do with .rtf.
