Is there an age ducks can walk on smooth surfaces

Is the rule about ducks walking on smooth surfaces like vinyl tile, linoleum etc just for baby ducklings. I know spraggle leg can develop if they do but do they get stable enough that at a certain age its okay?

Simple answer is no, ducks legs are always weak and vulnerable.
