Is there an animal that will provide me with meat, milk and fiber?

Yep, I'll hop on and also say Yaks are the best choice. They're one of the few animals who have so many uses, and they don't get into anywhere near as much trouble as goats.

You need Pygoras. There is a registry for them. You get the beautiful fibre but the pygmy in them gives them the heavier body and makes them a meat provider as well. And, of course, they provide milk.

Gotta agree with Bob on this one. I had the pleasure recently of meeting one of Bob's babies. If I remember correctly, she's the only one like her. Bob, I'm assuming you won't mind me posting a picture of your little Caramel Cappacino? She's one of the prettiest little things I've seen, and I imagine her wool will be worth a fortune! Here she is....

Here's a little one that's called a Super Woolly, bred for their abundant supply of wool:

My yaks are mostly meat yaks, but I do have some Imperials (solid black with black noses). I'm hoping to add some Super Woollies or some Super Hairies to my herd eventually.

I'd love some Yaks too... maybe be getting in touch with you Yaklady!

But... I think a Yak may be too much to shove into the back of the subaru!

Cayce, That was awfully sweet of you to post the pic of my Caramel Cappuccino. She is a sweetheart, and I'm really excited about her future. I think you should consider some fiber Yaks in your next purchase, especially some Goldens!!. Caramel is fluttering her gorgeous eyelashes just for you right now. She's still getting bottle fed in the back yard , and is getting quite a belly on her. She was definitely the hit with the kids at the National Western Stock Show. Thanks, Bob

You should go with Kinder Goats! Or mutts! Kinder Goats are both a dairy and meat animal. And many of mine has cashmere which is an expensive fiber. Yes. Goats would be your best choice. Or you could get an angora goat, and another goat for milk and meat.

Either way, goats are your best bet.

actually a yack or sheep are a better fit for ALL categories than a goat.

sheep milk is very rich great for cheese and butter, their wool of course if highly prized and lamb and mutton for meat...

personally i like goats more than sheep (though southdown babydolls make me smile lol) but if your limited and only want 1 species, i think a yak or sheep are your best choices.

I'd also say sheep! Many people are raising icelandics for this exact reason. Goats may be easier to milk, but I think sheep will provide much more meat and fiber per animal.
