Size Mass per egg

Jumbo Greater than 2.5 oz. or 71 g
Very Large or Extra-Large (XL) Greater than 2.25 oz. or 64 g
Large (L) Greater than 2 oz. or 57 g
Medium (M) Greater than 1.75 oz. or 50 g
Small (S) Greater than 1.5 oz. or 43 g
Peewee Greater than 1.25 oz. or 35 g

Over th past 5 months I have enjoyed watching the eggs I am collecting gradually increase from pee-wee, through to averaging large ( and getting close to being XL).

AS I understand it, egg cartons are sold by a minimum total weight of the dozen.

Do a search on ebay for "egg scale", you'll find lots of nifty expensive toys.

I got this egg awhile back it weighed 135 grams it was a double yolk egg inside a double yolk egg.

just marking this for later. hopefully for tomorrow. I ordered a postal scale on the 21st I am hoping it will be here tomorrow. I know my eggs are tiny but I still would like to know how much the weigh.
