Is there an unsafe temp to offer pigeons baths?

I find the nylon mesh feed bags in areas where poop collects to be the answer to frozen poop. It just peels off in freezing temperatures. A tarp would also work equally as well.

I realize my setup is a little different, but Felix has a branch he perches on and very rarely poops on, his bedding is Granular Sweet PDZ that I scoop with a kitty litter scoop almost daily and about weekly go through it with a fine mesh sive to get any uneaten food and such out (I have found he burries some seeds and sprouts them in his bedding...) I plan when I make him his outdoor area to have the coup part with a few inches of PDZ and the "run" area being wire floored so the poop falls through.

A few days ago it was 36F and raining. Most of the birds were in the aviary lifting their wings, appeared to be trying to take a shower.

I feel like I should offer a bath on the next sunny day it gets to 40F, maybe?

I offered mine a bath this past weekend and they indulged. I would definitely offer a bath if it gets over 40F. Not sure about Wisconsin, but it's supposed to be almost 50 here this weekend.

I love the wing stretching, it's so funny. They stretch just like humans when we wake up from naps. The best is when they stretch their wings, then stretch their legs one at a time by stretching it back behind them
