Where is TN are you? I am in Western NC. where is Crossville? Have you looked at craigs list sometimes you can find folks selling coops or someone who may build you one.

Crossville is about 2 hours east of Nashville. I have looked there but found nothing.

I don't bred. Mine are not old enough, but I hatch eggs. My dbf build my chicken coops and is probably going to build one for our ducks when we move.

I live in Clarksville TN, have ducks and my mallard is about to hatch a nest of eggs later this week.

They don't need anything fancy, have you checked the archives for duck houses? maybe you and dh could build one.

We built our coop and house ourselves out of plywood metal stakes and chicken wire. I shingled the roof and put some heavy duty hinges on the roof so it will open for easy cleaning. Also painted the outside with an exterior paint to keep water out. I was very new to ducks at the time, but it was a simple inexpensive afternoon project. My female is very content nesting in there.
