Is there any hope for this little guy?

I'm writing this at red lights on the way to the vet, is there any hope for this one? I think he got attacked by a crow

He is still moving his head up and down and opening his beak

Unfortunately it seems he passed away a few minutes after posting.

My condolences. I always figure that there's hope...until there isn't. Sadly, all you can do now is make sure the same fate can't befall any other ducklings.

Kind of hard for me to do that being they are ducklings from a feral muscovy at a local park.

I came to the park and he was just lying on the ground like that, I think crows did it there were 4 or 5 in the tree above

I'm sorry, sometimes they just don't make it. At least he's no longer in pain.
