Is there any way to hide the RP threads?

Is there any way to hide the RP threads? When I open the "New Posts" page the RP threads are more and clogging up the page. I personally have no interest in them so I was wondering if there is some way I could just hide them? Perhaps a way to go into each thread and mark them as something I don't want to see?

Note: RP people I have nothing against you guys Just not a personal interest for me.

Unfortunately there isn't, but you could narrow down the "new topics" list by category of the forum, and then scrolling down for a list of all recent topics in that section, for example:

Only raising chicken stuff:
https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/64/raising-backyard-chickens

Only Breed stuff:
https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/65/chicken-breeds

Only social stuff:
https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/63/social

Aw, too bad I'm usually interested in all the topics, directly chicken related or not, just not the RP. I guess I'll just bare with them and thanks for the help

What"s an RP thread?

RP = Role Play. It's the threads where they post what their charater is doing and you end up with a multiperson story telling/game.

Was not there a way to filter out BAS and GJF in 'unanswered' before? Can that be implemented again? (of course the RP's are all answered already so they don't come up)

We had BSA / BST filtered out before, but we don't have that option here. That said, we have way more subscription and section level "recent topic" areas that people can navigate to and basically see the same thing.
