I am 56 years old and I still remember the thrill I got when I read the Black Stallion books. I loved horses with a passion and finally saved enough money to buy an Appaloosa filly when I was 12. She was my best friend for years. If you really want more books, stop spending money on everything. Save every cent you get your hands on. Set priorities. What is more important, something RIGHT NOW, or something you really really want later. If you live for the RIGHT NOW all your life, you will not accomplish your goals. Goals are important and saving for a book is a worthy accomplishment.

In my mind's eye, I travel back to the little girl who imagined SHE was galloping down the beach with her fingers twined in the thick flying mane of the Black Stallion. Of course I was riding bareback and I never fell off.

you brother left you room door open and you GS and the cats that srayed got in but then i steal his books that he stole from me

The Black Stallion was also made into a movie years ago. The horse used in the movie actually had white stockings and a blaze but they dyed it for the movie. Unfortunately, he died of colic years later. His name, and Im sure I am mispelling it, was Cas Ole or Cas de Olel, something like that. I believe he was a Polish Arabian. The book has been around for years. I usually buy stuff off Amazon so you might try there first. The original author also wrote other books in the series that you might be interested in.

i know i got 2/3 miovies and i think they had a tv show 3 what you call-them and i am pretty sure you spelled it right and i do check

Amazon (you gotta love that site) and that's where i find out thier a new book

No brother, but I did have to deal with my mom's cats....lost many a book to those cats. I remember going to school and smelling cat pee. Just then, I realized in the middle of class a cat had sprayed my backpack, books and my jacket
