One more little detail. The ducks don't seem to mind small vs super-mongo big zucchini. So I'm letting some of them grow to forearm sized (a big man's forearm, not a child or petite woman's forearm!). It's all the more food for them.

Oh, one other detail, I made the mistake of putting some peas in a piece of styrofoam yesterday. You know the type, a piece that was packing for something & had some nice pocket holes where I put the peas with some water. They ate the peas, but they also seemed to enjoy tearing up the strofoam. Ooops! Duh, my mistake. So ducks eat one more thing! But I'm not following them to see if any stryfoam gets 'passed' through.

Apparently not LOL. I know it can cause horses to colic but my birds are just fine. It must have been a passing thing though because they haven't touched it since.
