Is there anything else I should do for coccidiosis?

I accidentally squirt some of it all over her face. 🥺 Barely any got in her mouth and she keeps jumping out of my hands when I try to give it to her.
Let me know if you are still having a hard time, I can show you how to administer it into their esophagus without causing them to aspirate, but you would need someone to hold their beak open.

Thank you so much ❤️ I haven't seen her eat or drink anything, although I saw her walking away from the water a couple times when I went to check on her? So idk

Yeah, sometimes I think they just drink when we're not looking.

Let me know how it goes, I can ask someone if you can put corid on bread or hardboiled egg if it is still hard to get the medicine in her.

I couldn't see her windpipe and she absolutely would not let me put the syringe in her mouth. So I bathed her and blowdried her. She loves that. She fell asleep during the blowdry and was calm enough for me to give her her medicine. I just kept it as far to the side as I could and tilted her body a little, away from her windpipe.

I would see how she is doing in the morning. Hopefully that was enough for her to be drinking normally tomorrow. It has been a long time since I treated for coccidiosis, but I remember the healing being swift. I am sure it varies, but hopefully she will at least be drinking tomorrow.

Yesterday I saw a significant amount of blood in the brooder. Everyone was acting normal but I noticed one seemed to be missing some feathers near her tail, like she had been pecked. She had some blood on her feathers. I watched and saw her poop very liquid/mucusy, dark blood.
Please.
Post photos of the chick, the missing feathers and of her vent as well.

I do agree to start all the chicks on Corid.

Liquid Corid dose is 2tsp or Powdered Corid Dose is 1 1/2tsp per gallon of water given for 5-7 days as the only source of drinking water.
Do not add any extra vitamins/electrolytes that contain B1(Thiamine) to food or water during the course of treatment.

Direct oral drench is in ADDITION to her drinking the Mixed Corid Water throughout the day or you syringing the Mixed Water into her if she's not drinking.

Yesterday morning, I had 3 chicks acting sick. By afternoon, all were peeping and pecking around and drinking their water. Everyone seems happy and healthy now!! Thanks everyone! 🥰

So glad everyone is doing better.

I am really glad that coccidiosis is pretty easy to treat as long as you catch it quickly. They are all better because you were right on it, I am sure.
