is there anyway to know, what color egg rooster gives?

so I'm thinking about maybe getting a cuckoo Maran rooster. I own one cuckoo Maran hen that lays brown eggs. I know that it is one breeder here in Iceland that breeds cuckoo Maran chickens and his flock lay both brown egg and white eggs.
if I would get a rooster from him how will I know if the rooster gives brown eggs of white eggs?

okey, but another think I'm wondering about is this. I got fertile cream legbar eggs and they where olive in color not blue. all the hens look like cream leg bars but this rooster looks mixed. but he's just so sweet so I couldn't cull him. so he's staying to give me some more olive Eggers (since he came from a olive coloured egg, and most of his sisters lay olive eggs and the rest lays light green eggs)
but if I where to use him with my cuckoo Maran hen, would I get just olive Eggers from them or would some lay brown eggs?
sorry if this is a stupid question I just don't know much about genetics.

but I would love to get more olive eggs in my egg basket as well as brown so I'm just courious

I know this is an old thread but you can figure out what gene (egg color) your rooster has by breeding him to a white laying hen, hatching those eggs, letting them grow up and seeing what color egg they lay.
That’s how you determine if an Olive egger rooster inherited the brown or blue egg gene. It’s very time consuming but it is possible

min your case you’d breed your rooster with a white laying hen and either get white eggs or brown eggs and that would tell you what genes he carries.
