is there anyway to tell wether or not an EE will lay tinted eggs??????

Well, I dont know if this is an old wives tale or not, but I find it to be true for my flock- Look at the color of the ear lobes of your hen (if she is near or at laying age) the color of the earlobes is close to what color the eggs will be. Red lobes usually mean brown eggs, white lobes= white eggs, etc.

thanks.i alredy new that tho. lol. tell me if this is tru or not please. sum1 told me that if EE have pea combs they will lay green eggs. but if they have single combs it will lay brown eggs.
