Someone told me on one of my videos of my Speckled Sussexes that they look like Jubilee Orpingtons. I looked them up, and they looked practically the same! Is there a difference between the two? If there is, what is it?

feather patterns and skin/leg color are exactly the same, but true Jubilee orps should have an abundance of soft feathers(making them look extremely plump) compared to the spex.

Oh, okay. Yeah, I noticed the Jubilee Orpingtons look bigger than the Speckled Sussexes.

Compared to the average pet Speckled Sussex, they're MUCH much bigger and fluffier. Much more round of body.

Isn't the difference several hundred dollars? If you're in the US, the jubilee orps are still very rare and expensive. The colors are pretty close, but the body type is quite different.

Price too, but that will change as more people have them.

The standard alone for the breeds differs quite a bit.
