Is there such a thing as a "chicken-sitter"?

Hoping someone can help!

We (here in upstate NY) have 6 absolutely sweet chickens who are regular layers and just awesome. They've kinda become pets, even though we swore we wouldn't have them as such...yeah... well, that didn't work very well. However, The Major is being deployed in December for at least 3 months, and I am from NZ and need to go home to see my mother... not exactly helpful now, given we have these great chickens! We would be so grateful if someone could look after them for those months we're away.

If you're at all interested, please feel free to ask any questions, we'd be most grateful for any help.
